It is all about the 27-hour live performance of Nik Bärtsch’s Mobile, a World Premiere hosted at the NYUniversity in Abu Dhabi.
Each of the two musicians Nik Bärtsch and Sha, always wear a life-logging camera for 27 hours, recording a high-resolution picture every minute, whether they are on stage, the toilet or backstage.
These 3’240 images are interwoven into a 27 minute Mashup Flow, where one second of film correspond to a minute of realtime.
The Mashup Diary is part of a comprehensive study of analog and nonlinear time recordings.
